Come See Pointwise at AIAA SciTech

AIAA’s SciTech 2014 (Science and Technology Forum and Exposition, formerly Aerospace Sciences) is next week in the Washington D.C. area. Pointwise scitech2014will be participating in a wide variety of activities at this event so come out and join us.

John Steinbrenner will be presenting the paper he co-authored with Nick Wyman on Automatic Structured and Unstructured Grid Cell Remediation for Overset Meshes. Their presentation will be Wednesday 15 January at 11:30 a.m. in session FD-26/MVC-05, Overset Grids.

John Dreese co-authored a paper on Comparison of CFD-Based Simulation of External Fuel Tank Separation to Flight Test. The paper will be presented by Lockheed Martin’s Dennis Finley on Monday 13 January at 2:30 p.m. in session APA-09, Weapon Aerodynamics and Store Separation II.

Carolyn Woeber is co-chairing session APA-22, Special Session: 2nd High Lift Prediction Workshop (HiLiftPW-2) I.

Travis Carrigan will give an invited presentation at the Aircraft Design Working Group meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Monday 13 January. This group is a subcommittee of the Aircraft Design Technical Committee and Travis’ presentation is titled Integrating CFD Mesh Generation Into the Design Cycle. John Dreese and Carolyn Woeber will also attend this meeting.

Of course, all five of these folks will be available at various times at our booth (#307) in the exhibit hall.
