For a good time at AIAA SciTech next month, look no further than the reception we’re co-hosting with our friends at Tecplot and FieldView. Oh – we’ll be presenting technical work too.
At next month’s AIAA SciTech Forum and Exposition, you’ll be able to “mesh” with Pointwise in all sort of ways.
Technical Presentations
Pointwise co-founder and executive vice president Dr. John Steinbrenner will be presenting work he co-authored titled
- “Implementation of a Size Field Based Isotropic Hex Core Meshing Algorithm” by Steinbrenner, Wyman, Jefferies, Karman, and Shipman.
At least two other presentations at SciTech include Pointwise contributions.
- “Towards Wall-Resolved Large Eddy Simulation of CRM and JSM High-Lift Configurations” by Wang and Rahmani.
- “Dual-Grid Interpolation for Cell-Centered Overset Grid Systems” by Noack et al.
Live Demonstrations
We’ll be in the expo hall in booth #312 to answer all your mesh generation questions and to demonstrate many of the newer features in Pointwise.
Fun Receptions
And on Wednesday evening we’re co-sponsoring one event and co-hosting another.
We are co-sponsors of a special reception to celebrate Prof. Antony Jameson’s 85th birthday. (Location to be announced later.)
Along with our friends from Tecplot and FieldView we are co-hosting a CFD “Pre-Post Party.” Come for the drinks and snacks, stay for the witty banter about CFD pre- and post-processing. It’ll be Wednesday starting at 6pm in Celebration 10.
Get all the details at the SciTech page on our website.
Hope to see you there.
Bonus: Bring your sneakers forĀ fun runs on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Meet in the lobby by the concierge desk at 6am for a refreshing jog. See the details here(click on During the Forum).
